What the sum takes seriously

Three things a price list leaves out, all of which change the answer.

Holidays count

Three weeks away a year is three weeks a membership still bills and a pack does not. The model takes them off your attendance before it divides.

Expiry counts

A ten class pack used inside twelve weeks is a ten class pack. Used slowly it is an eight class pack at ten class prices, and the rate moves accordingly.

The joining fee counts

It is a one off, so it lands on the first year and nowhere else. That is why the first year and the years after it are different numbers.
